Loved the books

Have 'em, read 'em. I liked the series. While it did get old by the fourth or fifth book, the historical juxtapositions and societal commentary were interesting. Besides it gave me my life long fascination with Sir Richard Francis Burton. The main character throughout the books and an amazing person.
