On the front page, we have links to download the old issues of Asgard from 2001 and 2002, and in the 7th issue, on page 55, I found a gorgeous illustration by Ilya Astrakhan.
I remember requesting volunteer art and being thrilled to get something so swanky for free. Intrigued and nostalgic, I tracked down his old Epilogue gallery, here Ilya Astrakhan Art Gallery - Epilogue.net - Fantasy Art Galleries.
But as far as I can tell, he stopped doing art in 2004, which I think is a shame. Anyone know what may have become of this fine fantasy artist? I mean, c'mon, what's not to love?
