Anyone know what's on Toril's moon?

Can anyone tell me about Toril's moon? Inhabitants and interesting features that my DM'd need to know about if my party ever wind up there?

I did a few google searches and found no information of substance. There's one Spelljammer reference that there's kind of a portal, but most people say it is a big rock.

Count this as a "bump".

Called Selune by the natives of Toril, the inhabitants of the moon actually refer to it as Leira after the former goddess of deception who protects their homeland with a giant illusion that makes it appear to be a crater strewn wasteland. I'm not sure how her death and Cyric's takeover of her portfolio may have changed this situation. I can't remember much about what's actually going on there under the illusion. I believe the Tears of Selune (the nearby asteroid field) is inhabited by secret bases of space pirates, etc., and is one of a few possible locations for the asteroid city known as the Rock of Bral.

All this info comes from the Spelljammer supplements Realmspace and the Rock of Bral. I have them at home, email me if you're interested in more details and I'll flip through them a little bit one of these days.

PC, that's good advice.

Davelozzi, thanks. That's exactly what my DM was wanting to know. I sent him a link to this thread last night when I made it; he may email you for more info — I'm not sure just how detailed he was looking for.

*Spoiler*
Issue 88 of Dungeon (The Door from Everywhere) also details a tomb on Selune (allthough it's a very minor bit with no map or npcs
*End Spoiler*

A growing army of Space-Kobolds inhabit Selune, along with their Illithid slaves. They're plotting their eventual take-over of the Realms, and from there, the entire cosmos!!!!
