Anyone Play Fable: The Lost Chapters?

I got Fable: The Lost Chapters. Even if you try your best to do every single little sidequest and take your time exploring, you will only get maybe 15 hours of gameplay. It's a fun game, but definitely not one to spend $40+ on.

What about for $10.00? 15 hours seems awfully short gameplay even for $10.00. :\

Fable is definitely worth $10. I had a great time with the original, pre-Lost Chapters version on the Xbox. It's certainly not the longest game ever made, but reports of its shortness are dramatically over-stated.

I didn't do every single side quest in the game, but I did a lot of exploring and just fooling around with stuff in the game world, and my first playthrough clocked in at just under 21 hours. I think I'd only bought one or two of the buyable houses, there were still a couple of Demon Doors that I hadn't unlocked. And I don't suck at video games either. :-P The Lost Chapters adds about 25% more playtime, from what I hear.

I don't think you should have any trouble getting a good 20 hours of playtime out of The Lost Chapters unless you just like to follow the main quest and obvious sidequests.

I BOUGHT the game. Never got to play it. If you're going for the PC version, check the Microsoft website for the specific list of acceptable video cards, the box specs are not specific enough.

I enjoyed it, and I hadn't played the original on the XBox so it was all new. Don't recall how much time I spent on it, though I did play through twice (one good, one not so good). No bugs or glitches that I can recall, and my system is about 3 yrs old at this point (sigh).

Have played the lost chapters on the xbox, and I had a blast, I certainly didn't get through it in fifteen hours though, but I did every side quest, got every item, etc, I still play it, and there is quite a bit of replayability if you try each type of character as both good and evil.

My wife picked it up for Christmas. It's a fun game, but for some reason on our computer (and many, many others as well I have found) there's an odd glitch with disappearing and fickering text. I have yet to find a solution that works, and there is currently no patch for the game.

In addition, loading a saved game starts you over at the beginning of the latest "chapter", rather than where you saved.

Those two little quirks made the game virtually unplayable for me. I made it through the beginning tutorial/training chapters, and haven't played it since.

I finished it in roughly 12 hours of play the first time, but that was running through the main quest. Second time (which was still fun) was longer as I explored every nook and cranny, maybe 15 hours, so that is 27 hours.

It is noticably short and they could have added more, but it was still fun if not a masterpiece.
