Anyone Run Force of Nature?

To buy myself a little prep time without derailing our campaign, I'm adapting the DDI adventure Force of Nature (found here for those interested). It fits really well into where the campaign looks like it's heading next (introduces the Feywild and some important characters). I was wondering if anyone's run this adventure and what kind of success they had.
My initial thoughts are to eliminate a few of the encounters (specifically the solo-troll) and avoid the suggested random encounters (unless the players really get lost). I'll of course be changing a lot of names and making the locations more campaign-specific to my world. If people are interested, I'll post more on the changes I make as I do some prep work.

Let me know your experiences!

I remember reading it way back when. It sounded usable, but there probably are some tweaks needed. I seem to recall that the finale sounded either VERY difficult or exceedingly easy, but I forget which, lol. Anyway, its probably advisable to trot out the PCs sheets and do a couple rounds of practice on that and see if it works. The plot was workable, but I'd be surprised if the PCs didn't wander off in some new direction in the middle of it.

The ending to me sounds like it has potential to be dynamic... but is very specific. It's one of those "do these exact acts to achieve the narrative goal" puzzles that I've found usually only frustrate. I've played with some of these before, so I feel like I can run them with some flexibility and not have to railroad the players into specific courses of action.

If they do wander off, I have enough background written for the campaign I should be able to adapt. I'm mostly going to use this as a way to spend more prep time on the future of the campaign without losing play time with my group.
