Message: <blockquote data-quote="Boss" data-source="post: 3136015" data-attributes="member: 1247"><p>My main gripe is that if you do not have an internet account, you are out of luck.  I live far enough out in the boonies to be able to get little better than dial-up, so I don't bother at the house, and if I did there is no way a dial-up could keep up with everyone else (have a T-1 line here at my work that I use to surf the net).  With BF2, they at least let you install and run single player using a "default account" but 2142 REQUIRES you to create an account online and run with it... so I spent $50 for no reason at all.  I am going to keep it for when we run LAN games at some friends houses in town, but otherwise... thanks EA, thanks a lot!</p></blockquote><p></p>
