Which I actually find kind of annoying, since it means I lose two hours of pay on Monday. I lost even more than that on Christmas Eve because nobody warned me we were going to close early. I at least knew ahead of time this time around, so I will go in earlier than I usually am scheduled so I can mitigate it. (I do at least get holiday pay on the actual holiday, though.)Considering that I'm getting laid off next Friday, losing much-needed pay to holidays and snow closings really hurts. Plus, I have no family or offline friends to do anything with on the holidays, so they end up being really boring days. Not only do I have nothing to do offline, there's nothing to do *online* either since most other people are *also* off celebrating the holidays.
