AOL Instant Messenger dice

I just tested it, it doesn't seem to work. Maybe when in AOL, you can do it through an IM. I know it works in the chat rooms (when I was on AOL, people would be rolling 6-siders, and I'd roll a 7-sider, since I knew about the -dice1 -sides7 thing, when they were just doing //roll 
), but I can't get it to work in an external AIM...

Ah, that explains it. I gave up AOL late February. (Actually, I tried to give it up in December, but missed the cut-off date by four days. Then I tried to give it up in January, but missed the cut-off date by one day. Finally gave it up in February. There's no way I'm going back, after that boondoggle. Grrrrrrrr.....)
Still fun to play with people who don't know the whole syntax. When rolling dice to determine something or other, it's fun to have a 7 (or a 99 ) come up, when people are expecting from 1 to 6.
