Always been curious about KULT, premise sounded interesting, but I never go a chance to crack open the books.

Kult is coming back. It's (really) not for kids, but if you are interested in a hardcore, Judeo-Christian based, gnostic-horror setting, then it's something that you'll be interested in. The old core mechanic was a bit bland, and the new one will be based on the Apocalypse World engine. Hopefully, the magic systems (lores of magic) will remain in tact, as they truly were a work of art. The illustrated art work too, in the snippets we've seen, also looks brilliant. The kickstarter will happen early next year, with a targeted release for the end of 2016 (my guess, more likely 2017).

Interesting, I can get some ideas from that splatterpunk background but I wouldn't use to play. I would rather my own version of World of Darkness.
