Your thoughts are welcome, and remember, the homebrew site is still wanting your submissions! Appetite for Destruction Large Outsider (Fire) This monster is inspired by the illustration on the inside cover of Guns 'n' Roses album, Appetite for Destruction. The illustration is itself titled Appetite For Destruction by Robert Williams. This creature's body seems to consist of a swirling mass of blood-soaked tissue, organising itself into a vaguely humanoid shape. Its legs look almost identical to its arms, with giant claws at their ends gripping the surface as it walks. Usually it manoeuvres by making giant leaps forward through the air, allowing it to attack using all 4 of its claws. Various bloody masses orbit its body, moving as it does, shaped like small skulls with grinning faces. Above its head three of the masses have taken on the shape of a mouth, a nose and an ear. These actually serve as the main sensory input of the creature. Its body is covered in a suit of shiny armour, with a small helmet atop a round protrusion above its mouth. Its mouth is by far its most prominent feature, and must constitute at least 30% of its total body mass. The huge jaws open wide to let fly a giant snaking tongue but have no teeth of their own. Instead a row of razor sharp daggers are affixed in some diabolical manner in a row above and below its jaw-line. Appetites' spend their time searching out wrongdoers and inflicting them with incredible pain. Mainly they do this simply because they enjoy hurting people and have discovered that people tent to object less if they hurt bad people. They have often ended up however battling on the side of anyone who appreciates their thirst for pain and who gives them plenty of opportunity to exercise this thirst. Hit Dice: 4d8+3 (49hp) Initiative: +0 Speed: 40ft AC: 18 (-1 size, +4 natural, +5 breastplate) Attacks: Bite +9 melee (+4 bab, +5 str, -1 size, +1 focus), 2 (or 4) Claws +6 melee Damage: Bite (1d8+5), Claws (1d6+2) Face/Reach: 5ft by 5ft/10ft Special Attacks: Jumping Charge Special Qualities: Blindsight Saves: Fort: +7 Ref: +4 Will: +3 Abilities: Str: 21 Dex: 11 Con: 16 Int: 6 Wis: 6 Cha: 4 Skills: Jump +14 (+8 rank, -4 penalty, +10 racial), (8*4 - 2*4 = 24) Feats: Multiattack, Weapon Focus (Bite) Climate: Any land or underground Organisation: Solitary CR: Treasure: None Alignment: CN Advancement: Jumping Charge (Ex): With a successful jump check for a minimum distance of 20ft (DC 22) the Appetite can perform a Jumping Charge. It then has the option to make an attack with either its bite attack or all 4 of its claws. For a bite attack it gets a +4 to its attack roll and for a claw attack the usual +2. It suffers a -2 to its AC for 1 round. For a failed jump check then treat as a normal movement then attack.
