April Dungeon and Dragon (at last) ToC is up

Aegeri

First Post
Dungeon has an Eye on Dark Sun with the Accursed Legion, which I think might sound kind of interesting and what I can only assume is a gladitorial arena style Chaos Scar adventure. There is another adventure about a mysterious killer maze as well that I think could be worth the price of admission - though I wonder if it is paragon or heroic.

One thing I've begun to really notice is the distinct lack of any articles on Eberron. When was the last article on Eberron anyway? The Q'Barra stuff (which was excellent I must say)?

Edit: Dragon is now up. The Weaponmaster is this month, which will make all the various essentials threads oh so hilarious to read (Spoiler: It's just the fighter). There is also a section on revamped "core feats", which I am wondering if it will end up being like errata or not. There is an unearthed arcana on strange gods, I will concede immediately I am so looking forward to that already. Curiously there is an "Index of rituals" that apparently lists them and tell you what they do? Could actually be useful, part of why I see little ritual use in my games, is that I suspect most PCs don't have any idea what most of them are in the first place.

Don't look now, but Dragon's up too:

Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game Official Home Page - Table of Contents (Dragon #398 Table of Contents)

Class Compendium: Weaponmaster
Class Compendium: Feats
Unearthed Arcana: Strange Gods
Channel Divinity: Avandra
Bazaar of the Bizarre: Focus Your Ki (note - vampires and assassins use ki focuses)
Luck of the Draw (rules on gambling)
An Index to Rituals (wow, been a while since they've talked about rituals)
Nerathi Legends: Sarthel
Confessions of a Full-Time Wizard
D&D Alumni

I updated the thread title to reflect the change.

Also holy crap, is this the first month in ages that Robert hasn't got a single article?

The rituals index could be really useful, and a great resource to point players to when they say things like "Rituals just don't feel very powerful."

Those people will never be convinced unless you can break encounters with them (EG cast them whenever you want like a CoDzilla or similar).

The list will be nice though and help players pick rituals to suit certain game situations better. I keep forgetting what rituals help with water breathing and the relative levels they are (for example).

I know who you're talking about, but I don't mean them. I mean the players who have ritual casting but can't think of which ones to use/when to use them and as a result think that they're not worthwhile (which is ridiculous; divination rituals alone are incredibly powerful).

I'm guessing the feat article will allow for multiclassing into/out of essentials classes. If we are lucky they will also revisit some of the feats that have rough stat requirements (the mastery feats, for example).

Finally getting the Class Compendium feats, great!

But what has me really excited is the start of a new series dealing with the little bits of storied locations developed for the Conquest of Nerath Boardgame. I hope it comes with sneak peeks at the new map!!! First up Sarthel, City of Silver.
