I'm working on a comprehensive conversion for an Arabian-themed game. What sort of classes/character roles do you see belonging in this setting?
Also...Are there other ways you'd want to be able to define your character in an Arabian game besides class?
So far, I've worked up three basic classes (loosely combining gestalt, the ultimate classes, some pre-existing al-qadim 3e conversions, and my own ideas): warriors, rogues, and spellcasters. Within each of these classes are 8 specializations/character kits as shown below...
Warriors: Corsair, Desert Rider, Faris, Harem Guard, Mamluk, Ranger
Rogues: Barber, Beggar Thief, Merchant, Rawun, Sa’luk, Street Performer
Spellcasters: Hesabib, Hakima, Kahin, Mystic, Prophet, Saher
"Who seeketh fame without toil and strife, the impossible seeketh and wasteth life." -Adventures of Sinbad the Sailor
