Okay, does it seem wrong that an 11th level wizard that worships Pelor, has the Arcane disciple feat (healing domain) and also has 5 levels of Combat Medic can spontaneously cast healing spells?

Certainly not, the whole focus of his character has been to get to that point, and he's spent feats (and presumbably skill points to meet the other Pre-requisites) to acheive that goal.

Worse. Look at an arcane caster worshipping Pelor, then give him two Complete Divine feats: Arcane Disciple (Healing domain) and Spontaneous Healer. Read the feat descripts carefully.

No need to take class levels in any other classes, at all! : )
