If this was in play, I would never play a caster with an ASF chance. Many of the effects are flavorful, but there are some that are lethal.

Emnity with a Demon Lord, a 1 mile Planar Vortex, death with only 9th level spells being able to raise you. There are some others that might also be very bad, but I can't tell because the text ends at the line break.

Losing a spell is a risk that it might make sense to take. Risking insta-death or a TPK every time you cast a spell makes casting in armor much more dangerous. Although it could make for an interesting chaotic spell caster.

Thanks for reading it over guys .. I'll go make the changes later.

If you think that the only time the table would come into play really would be if the Arcanist was wearing armour or hampered in some way. It would make the spell slinger a think a bit more about casting spells and not be what some sorcerers become as a fireball factory pumping out round after round lots of direct damage.

I may start working on a wild magic table akin to 2nd edition one where the results could be beneficial.. but most likely not! I have been reading my old Rolemaster books and quite influenced by the fumble tables - the funniest result being you trip over an imaginary deceased turtle (sorry I digress) but may thanks for looking at it and I will go make changes very soon.

There we go, all altered. It seems when I was formatting with Publisher it messed up the tables. So I just have simplified it to a very basic pdf. Next time I will go back over it instead of finishing off in a hurry, apologies to all.
