Arcane Reach High Arcana

Been having a think about the Arcane Reach High Arcana.

First question - what arcane offensive spells are touch range? Having a look I got:

Chill touch
Ghoul touch
Vampiric touch
Irresistable dance

All from the PHB. Missing any? Anything good in the core splat books?


Can you use the arcana with teleport? The way I'm reading it, you could target any friendlies within 30'?


Anyone been using this ability much? Any input/thoughts? Worth it?

Off the top of my head, from the PHB you also have:

Touch of Idiocy
Bestow Curse
Contagion
Imprisonment

I'd say you can use it with spells where you need to touch allies too, though I would apply it to one target at a time. So I wouldn't let you stay in contact with, say, four targets who are all separated from each other, for purposes of teleport .

Makes sense on the touch ruling... sounds like the way I'd rule it too!

Arcane Reach is best used with Chain Spell and buffs.

And Incantatrix with Chain Spell and Arcane Reach would be quite useful to have in your group, given they could buff a PC with Arcane Reach and then chain it to the rest of the group with their Incantatric ability, costing no spell slots and just a Spellcraft check (several times a day).
