As one of the authors that wrote this, I figured I'd address something you may have all noticed... Some spells are listed as being favored by blackguards, but the spell stat block does not list it as Blackguard. Simple Reason... Divine Strife, a book of nothing but clerical, blackguard, druiadic, ranger and adept spells. Some of the spells from Arcane Strife are reprinted inside, because spells that are really good were ported across by clerics from mages, or mages from clerical spells. Thanks to your input, we're taking a harder look at Divine Strife to make sure that we did not repeat the errors you have kindly pointed out. (All of these spells are being ported across from two decades worth the 1E/2E spells, so we are having someone who has NO experience with 2E or 1E, and is strictly a 3E man, looking for rules that he has never heard of) And no, I'm not offended by criticism of use, and the pointing out of my mistakes. How can I get better at this, and provide you with increasingly professional products if I think everything I do is perfect! :) As for the 3.5e test: Some people will chose not to adhere to the loss of "save or die" spells, and we feel that gamers should have the options of those spells. Until we gain access to the 3.5 changes, we will not be able to print out an "alternate damage table" for the spells in question, but rest assurred, once we gain access, a free download will be available to make the spells fully compatible, leaving the choice up to individual DM's and players. Still, thanks for informative critiques, I look forward to seeing more of them. And if you hate it, tell me why, I won't break down sobbing and won't bite your head off.
