Arcane Strife Supplemental free download

The Arcane Strife Supplemental is now available.

This free PDF includes a revised Wizard / Sorcerer spell list from Arcane Strife, this time subdivided by school of magic. (The original list in the manuscript was in this format, the same format as the spells in the Player's Handbook, but we switched to a striaght alphabetical list by level due to formatting and convenience sake, so we included the PHB-style list here for free.)

It also includes six magic items using spells from Arcane Strife, one new spell, a new bardic prestige class, detailed description of the Libram of the Dead (a necromantic spellbook crafted by the spell of the same name in Arcane Strife) and a discussion on the campaign effects of the Lay to Rest spell (as well as a slightly changed version for games where those campaign effects would be best avoided).

You can download it free here:

You can also check out the first review of Arcane Strife here.

And if the nearly 200 spells in Arcane Strife aren't enough for you, check out the 40+ spells in our prior release,Gnomes: Masters of Illusion, 95 pages of Gnomely goodness.

Thanks for the supplement! Quality work all-around. Would it be possible to insert this into the original PDF product? I know it can be done, PDF patcher programs and all that. Feasible for you guys?

Sorry, Princeps. While I attempt to keep track of all messages to the various boards and forums I visit (mostly here, Realms of Evil, Randomling's boards and some of the RPGnet boards), the reality of the situation is that I am generally too busy to read the General Discussion forum these days.

Also, as a rule of thumb, I don't consider message board posts to be "reviews" per se, otherwise I would have to link to all the message board threads about products we have released in our review roundups also.

Can't bump a post within a thread so I'm posting anew ;). Any chance for a patcher executable? Easily done on PC, Mac and other platforms.

No, no patch executable until we also reprint the PoD edition, at which point instead of releasing a patch, we'll just release an expanded version of the PDF. Far easier than a patch is an epanded version to replace the old one.

But at the same time, this spell list wasn't intended for the book itself, it was designed purely as a supplemental unit, and the magic items were included as examples of what can be done with the spells contained within.

Works for me. Keep up the good work!
