This adventure served as a great reminder that the world continues to revolve even when our heroes aren’t doing anything at all. It also provided for some good old fashioned family conflict (a theme I repeatedly abuse), as Kham must come to grips with just how much of a heartless person he wants to be.</p><p></p><p>Finally, the adventure deals with Cal’s tribe and fleshes them out a bit more. We’ve already seen his tribe in action and drummed up some sympathy, but this adventure really pushes the envelope. And it forced Vlad to expand his definitions of who is a “Milandisian countryman.”</p></blockquote><p></p>
