I was banking on one particular character being the salvation of the others and, as always, it never turns out that way. The players always manage to surprise me.</p><p></p><p>There are quite a few things that also surprised me, not the least of which is the cold dealings with Livius Carbo. The adventure makes a big deal that anyone facing the progenitor of the play that has killed thousands should feel bad about killing him in cold blood. Not so our adventurers!</p></blockquote><p></p>
