Yes. Look at this, it is a death certificate. http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/news/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=137 See ? WotC has successfully fired all of its great name, nearly all of its creative, is fueling Hasbro with its cash... And what do they do ? They hire a marketing guy ! In other word, someone who's paid much to cheat for the company, but produce nothing of value for the customer. Nothing that sells. A parasite, in other words. They're already dead, totally vampirised by Hasbro. They've sold electronic games. They've sold magazines. They've sold Gen Con. They've disintegrated 90% of the RPG staff. I don't know much on the card game front, since I'm no more interested in Magic and such since a long time, but I'm sure situation is not glorious here either. Wizards is now a mere empty shell, totally devoid of its substance, its lifeblood having been sucked by Hasbro. That new marketing guy is just the mosquito's anesthesic saliva. It seems to be still alive, but it's the life of a beheaded duck: it still run, but not for long, and nothing can save it anymore. RIP, Wizards. But I'm not worried for D&D or the d20 system. White Wolf will buy the license back. They are already getting back the D&D celebrities in Monte Cook's Malhavoc Press. Of course, when Hasbro will buy White Wolf...
