Are there any fans of Star Frontiers on ENWorld?

Are you a fan of Star Frontiers? I know it isn't D20, but it certainly hearkens back to the roots of the industry, and has a certain nostalgic appeal.

Anyhow, I have my own thread in the OGL section where I am tackling a MOD of sorts using the basic Star Frontiers rules, but I really just wanted to share that the Star Frontiers rules are available in their entirety as newly re-mastered PDF offerings. Not re-envisioned, not D20 mishmash of the setting, not plain (and illegal) scans of torn up booklets.... but new, freshly laid out, PDFs... and with the (limited) blessings of WotC - imagine that.

Huge fan of Star Frontiers here. Logged in far too many hours with that game in my youth. Still use it for a lot of ideas in my d20 Future campaign.

Ah, yes. Star Frontiers. I remember getting around the lack of info on starships (prior to the supplemental box set that came out later), by setting the characters on a "Car Wars"-style desert world, but with lots of sci-fi elements (an implausible number of things centered on this planet, really.) Stole plot ideas from everything from "Star Wars" to "A Boy and His Dog", "Neuromancer" to "Doctor Who". Good times

Yeah, I too loved SF back in the day... and Knight Hawks! Ahh, the fun of ship-to-ship combat... moving little chits over that black hex map of space... good times!

It was a fun game, though I liked basic Traveller more back in the day.

Recently, I saw Star Frontiers for sale at a Half-Price Books, and I regret not grabbing it then.
