One of the ninja, being more familiar with the region, used his ability to shadow jump to steal a baby girallon from a small pack that lived nearby. He grabbed the baby creature and bolted, Shadow Jumping just far enough that the other girallons kept chasing him. He headed straight for the group's camp, intending to kill the baby girallon and throw it into the camp, then shadow jump away, leaving the berserk creatures to wipe out the PCs.Unfortunately, the party druid happened to be on watch that night, and heard the screaming creatures coming. He turned into a bird, and flew up to see what was going on. One Baleful Polymorph later, and the ninja was turned into a chicken, frantically shadow jumping away from the carnivorous apes.That game is over, but the threat of the ninja chicken still remains. He'll be back to get his revenge... someday.</blockquote>
