Saw a tweet today that reminded me of this thread...

I'd like to see the DMG previews stop gushing about how things are improved for new players, how monsters are going to hate stuff, & new features designed to be frustrating dungeon masters in order to make room for talking about what they did not say when hyping the PHB(this is relevant to some of the hype the DMG needs). Wotc has done a lot over the last decade to encourage players & groups like the Jason from the tweet & the PHB does a better job with subtle additions like the player facing session zero sidebar in the character creation section. All of that Jason & PHB talk is relevant to the DMG because of the same reasons Perkins kept needing to🗞️NO BAD🗞️ to Kenreck & explain that it is perfectly fine for the GM to choose directions like the multiple choice examples that did not favor players most in the one video so far dedicated to the new DMG. Admit the problem that has been encouraged to fester over the years and tell us what in the DMG is aimed at empowering DMs with new/better tools that are useful to the DM. Do not give us videos about what the players will love in the Dungeon Master's guide without the bulk of that discussion being about how those areas of the DMG are useful to the DM.
