Sure, he's there for the entire game but nobody ever sees the player.I use alot of material from alot of different sources when I play too. One of the things I do (trying to be a good player) is write up a supplemental sheet for my character, with all the feats, spells, prestige classes, et cetera that I'm using that aren't in the three core rulebooks. I keep a copy and I give one to the DM. DMs seem to appreciate it, and I find it's easier to reference my supplemental sheet rather than carry multiple books. The act of writing it out also makes me remember all the finicky details too, such as syngery bonuses.</blockquote>
