I did not say, nor do I believe, that no opinion other than no or maybe is invalid, or that the people who hold other opinions lack mental acuity or self-awareness. I said I think they’re jumping the gun. As in, they’re making up their minds too quickly. That’s not invalid, or stupid, or wrong. It’s just unnecessarily hasty, in my opinion (burárum!) And by the way, that goes for people who have already decided not to buy it as well as people who have already decided to buy it.I can see that some people are incredibly sensitive to a phrase I consider pretty innocuous. Maybe this is a cultural thing? Is “jumping the gun” an incredibly harsh accusation in other parts of the world?</blockquote>
