It's supposed to be "3.25" -- you don't need an update except for what's in the update booklet.

In my experience, most items work without problem in 3.5e. But better discuss in each playgroup when there are some doubts.


Well, of course, some rules regarding weapon sizes should be updated by each DM's own hands. And vehicle rules does not work well as the rules for creature faces/spaces changed.

And if you like the A&E guide you might want to check out Bastion Press's Arms & Armor v3.5. Very, VERY useful reference of almost all OGL weapons and armor (Love the "Heavenly Lotus Pheonix Tail" polearm, and the picture just looks fantastic)
