Arrrgh, what the hell is that spell?!

It's from some non-WotC publisher (I think). So in my case, it's likely Malhavoc or Green Ronin, maybe Bastion, or some prominent pdf publisher, though it could be almost anyone else too. *sigh*

Basically, it's a very high level Cleric spell - fairly sure - that 'redeems' one (or it might be more than one) evil opponent, turning them to the good and righteous path, and so forth.

No doubt in involves a Will Save (at least).

Even if someone can just give me the name of the source, I've probably either got it, or can get access to reading it soon enough.

TIA.

Sanctify the Wicked (Sanctified 9)

Takes a year to work and they get a will save but they come out all virtuous.

Thanks for looking/remembering, but no that's not the one.

I'm closer to certain than I was before, that it's in a third-party publisher's book of some kind.

O publishers - one of you might know, perhaps?

*sighs again* (not for the first time since originally posting, either.)

I hate it when I come across something that'll be perfect for a particular situation, character, campaign or what have you, and a little while later just can't place the blasted thing.

Must be getting old. :(

This won't help ya...but I remember some similar thing from a past issue of Dragon Magazine.
Nono, it might! I have lots of them! I mean, seriously lots.

.....

issue #?

.....

any chance?

It's not Convert is it, from Relics and Rituals?

9th level, cleric, Will Save or be converted. Takes some time to cast, creature gets a penalty on Will Save on every succesive casting of the spell.

I don't know what particular spell you're looking for, but might you consider house ruling the spell Atonement to accomplish the same thing?

Or are you looking for something that "forces" an evil being to change alignment? If that's the case, I got nothin'. :)

actually...I'm thinking it was a PrClass ability that forced alignment change...and I'm sure it was from a particular issue...but can't remember which...heh.

May not be what you're looking for, but Green Ronin's Avatar's Handbook has a Reforged template, which basically changes a creature with the [Evil] descriptor to [Good], modifying its abilities to fit.

The template can be gained a number of ways, but one is the 7th-level spell Weight of Sin, described in the same book.
