Anybody tried converting certain adventures from Ars Magica to d20? Wondering if I should get Festival of the Damned over at rpgnow.com...

No, but I've been thinking that The Storm Rider and The Broken Covenant of Calebais would be worthwhile to convert. Covenants, which is more a sourcebook, would also be cool to convert. I just need to find the time to do it.

The Broken Covenant of Calebais ranks as one of my all-time favorite adventures ever, for any game system. Excellent stuff! I'd love to see a conversion, someday, Col. Hardisson! :D

In the past, I have adapted several of the old Ars Magica 1e/2e adventures to my D&D games, including "The Well of St. Alban" and "The Sorceror's Slave" and "Trial by Fire." I've also gone the other way around, adapting the Slavers modules to Ars Magica.

I'd have to say I agree, the Festival of the Damned would be worth the investment regardless of whether you run it d20 or not- one of the best adventures I have ever played. I also think that The Storm Rider and The Broken Covenant of Calebais would be worth the money as well. A Midnight Summer's Dream is pretty good, and the Pact of Pasquaine, Deadly Legacy, and The Fallen Angel would all make good conversions. And I can't recommend the Maleficium highly enough- if you really want some scary demons!
