Tabletop Adventures is looking for an artist to produce a color cover for our initial product. TTA is a start-up company with four personnel who together have 95 years of experience in roleplaying games. Our total experience also includes business, computers, writing and editing. We plan to make the products we’ve always wished were available, initially focusing on aids and resources for game masters. These will be things to help beginning game masters, or those with not enough time to do all the preparation they would like for their games. We call it the “Harried Game Master” line of materials. One area not included in our corporate experience is art, particularly the color artwork desired for our cover. Our concept for a cover is to have one that can be used for all the books in our initial series, in which we plan to deal with different terrain types. To that end, we want the cover to have multiple pictures which would show various terrains that may be included, such as a dungeon, forest, city, caverns, mountains, etc. To get more information, reply to this thread or e-mail mvpotter@cox.net. We have decided to make a serious push to get our first product out in October so we will need the finished artwork by October 22, 2004. Our budget for this is approximately $100. We know that is low for color art, and are willing to negotiate if we are impressed with your portfolio. (If you have a website or link please send that to the above e-mail address rather than sending large files of art.) Part of the fee will be paid after approval of a sketch or plan, and the rest on delivery of the completed artwork. (And yes, we already have the money!) Daniel Brakhage, the company President, has this to say about the cover art: “(Our tentative ideas) are meant to be a springboard, not a straightjacket. I would love for some creative person to come up with something better that just blows me away. THAT I would LOVE to pay for.” Vicki Potter Tabletop Adventures
