First Post
Well, the RPGObjects site states that the Legend of Excalibur Hardback is out in April! Gee, between this and Lone Wolf, April'll be a full month for me... ;)

Yeah, Mongoose is doing one. If it's anything like the Conan RPG, I'll be all over it. Lone Wolf was one of the main things that got me into RPGs in the first place.

Glad to hear you're looking forward to it :)

This was my first fantasy book, and my longest book to date, and its packed with a lot of things essential to an Arthurian campaign, and just downright handy for anyone's campaign, including 8 new core classes, over a dozen prestige classes, new magic weapons and artifacts, maps, NPCs, campaign backgrounds, a new (low) magic system, a spell points system, nobility rules to replace alignment, and social caste lineages to replace race for an all-human game.

*whew* Im tired just writing all that :)

The point Im trying to make is, I think there's a ton of cool stuff in the book for anyone looking to add a little medieval flavor to their campaign, and if you want to run with Lancelot and Gawain, then obviously there's a lot in here for you too.

* Calmly waits for paypal payment to go through for the Campaign Guide

I am more pumped about this then I was about Darwins World, or even Spycraft! Woo!

I sure hope the shipping for the hardcover won't be bad :]

Glad to see you're waiting for it lp :)

It was a hard book to write, because I did all the grunt work for you GMs... but seeing the finished product I think it was worth it, and that all Excalibur GMs will thank me :)

Speaking as one such excalibur GM, I know I thank you.

Folks, if you only buy one book this year, then you don't read enough. But if you buy two, one of them had better be this one.
Well written, with more info than you can sink your teeth into for dozens of campaigns, this book will keep you up 'knights' trying to think of ways to use it all in your game. (Sorry, couldn't resist the pun.)

And for the new GM, the information is invaluable, not only for Excalibur, but for any RPG. So check it out. Now.

Besides, now you have an official reason to make 'The Holy Grail' mandatory viewing for your gaming group. And make sure to offer nobility points for quotes. 'Yes, you did quote the whole scene. So here, take 10 away from your nobility.'

More fun cannot be had!
