Or do you think I'm an intellectual that is somehow anti-intellectual? Going back to Inzeladun's quote, I am against any institution of higher learning, an intellectual edifice, letting it's politics skew it's purpose or even it's intellectual credibility. That does not make me anti-intellectual. I'm also inclined to ask what makes you two intellectuals while excluding me from your group? If you consider me an intellectual, then you apparently are anti-intellectual too. If I am not an intellectual then what am I? Because whatever you think I am, then you are most definitely anti-that. I would be remiss to say that from the very beginning of this thread I supposed you truly meant that liberal=intellectual. Had you said I was anti-liberal then you would be mostly right. I don't agree that liberal=intellectual though. There are plenty of liberals and conservatives that a sane person would be hard pressed to categorize as intellectual. No matter how you argue it, you've intentionally insulted me, I believe with the intent to drive me from this forum. Here's a wild and crazy idea- this is your forum, and if you think I am destroying it or something, just tell me to leave! It's not a problem. Maybe some straightforward communication would be appropriate. Again, perhaps this seems like a very mean spirited post but I have to say I'm frustrated. I truly feel that just because you've got a dissenting voice speaking up that you're moving to quash it using this post to attack me. I also don't like elitists. If all intellectuals think they are elite, then I would truly be anti-intellectual. Fortunately, I know there are plenty learned people out there that do not place themselves above their fellow man. I also know that there are very intellectual people that are not elite because my best friend is the most intellectual person I know and he's....my best friend! I'll  have to ask him if he thinks I'm anti-intellectual. Forgive me for taking his answer as more accurate to reality. I'll let you know what he says.</blockquote>
