I think that during the Sundering, this divinity was stripped from him so he's gone back to merely being the most powerful being in the Nine Hells. He's a perfect fit for a warlock patron. He may not be able to grant clerics spells anymore, though.As for Tiamat, she resents Asmodeus for stripping her of the lordship of Avernus.
