Inspired by Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, Robert E. Howard's classic Sword and Sorcery tales of Conan the Barbarian. Two Years in the Making! As a result, my Atlantis Campaign is a rich place to play in. In my Atlantis campaign:

Atlantis is a nation that is a powerful sea power, but much of its wilderness is untamed. but the cities are much more civilized.
And the technology is higher than the typical D&D campaign. But what it is truly about is the transporation of modern characters from our day to the world of Plato's Atlantis.
Is faithful to Plato's philosophical fantasy. Uses the text of the Timaeus and the Critias as canon material!
Combines high technology, psionics, classic sword and sorcery, and the Ancient ante-divulian world with the World of the Greeks and Egyptians. This is fantasy that goes beyond the Tolkien and Celtic models.
Has other areas of adventure besides Atlantis. Venture into North America and interact with the Mayan Empire and the Land of Zion. Go to Tartessos in Spain or explore Greece, a land of Terrorists and Pirates! Or simply sail around Africa and visit the cyberpunk City of Nod.
Play as a D20 Modern Character or as an Atlantean! Be a character transported to Atlantis from our world, or play a native to Atlantis!
Come to Atlantis . . . and explore Plato's imagined Empire of Atlas! Two options are available. Face-to-Face gaming or Chat gaming on the Wizards.com D&D gaming Chatrooms. If you live in Salt Lake City, and want to play, then Face-to-Face gaming may be more appropriate. If you want to play by on-line Chat, then that is appropriate also. Either way, respond to this thread, and I'll send you the details: a players' handout giving you all the information you need to play. The Ancient World of Atlantis is as once beautifully formed and ready to be shared. Share in the experience that is an Atlantis d20 RPG.
