Attachement Management

I tried to add an attachment to a message. It hung so I closed the window. Now when I try to add an attachment to that message, I get an error telling me the attachment is in progress; to delete (a link). I follow the link to manage attachments, but nothing seems to exist for me to delete it. The date still says 'in progress'. How do I delete that attachment? I've tried deleting the message, but to no avail.

Also, how can I make an uploaded attachment visible?

What forum, because if it's in one of the play by posts or RG I'll handle it for you. If it's in another forum, your just going to have to wait a while and try again. Sometimes the boards take an extremely long time to process an attachment, and it will hang for an incredible amount of time.

It's in Living EN World --> (Record) Official Character Thread --:> Message 87. Or, it's suppossed to be. It doesn't show up as attached to anything.

Alright, either send me the file you want attached, or try again now that the server is much less busy. Theres nothing wrong with your post.

And here is what you need to do to fix the code:

Replace any braces {} with brackets [] for all things below.

Open Notepad
Copy everything that is inside of the {code} {/code} range. That is everything on the character sheet. Turn off word wrap. This is so that you see exactly how the tabs are formatted.

Start without any additional modifications such as {b} {/b} and such. Anything that occurs within brackets [] is going to disappear and will not affect the formatting of your text when you are done.

Line up everything using tabs. Try to get the tabs to line up like they do on the other characters sheets.

Copy everything that is inside of {code} {/code} from notepad. Place this inside the new post window. Then post it.

Your code box should be lined up fairly well. If there are any errors, make the corrections (such as deleting or adding one or more tabs) on your notepad window. Then, in notepad, add all of the other {b} {/b} material back in. Because your original post was lined up perfectly, these little bits will not affect your code. Copy, paste to the edit post window, and your done.

Actually, the new software is MUCH better for attachments. I haven't had any problems with it yet. You can manage and delete attachments from inside your user control panel... click on My Account, and look on the left side.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I followed the instructions, but all it does it just get rid of all the tabs so that everything is just smashed together.
