SPECIAL, characters may take dodge at half ranks if not on their class skill list. Dodge costs double points as it has only one rating, defense.</p><p> Bows, Simple Ranged and Thrown weapons-This has only one rating, attacking, as such each rank costs double.</p><p></p><p> To attack: roll d20 and add your attack rating. If this is a ranged attack add dex mod., if a melee attack add str mod.</p><p> When attacked: Roll d20 add your defense rating, add str.
