[QUOTE="Rashak Mani, post: 54512, member: 642"] Son and Grandson of Smiths, Attila was bound to the craft as sure as he was a dwarf... or so they thought. The little joy he had from his family legacy was rapidly forgotten once he first rode a horse. Vowing never to live underground again he set off for the north eventually joining roving bands of horsemen that prowled the Bandit Kingdoms of Greyhawk. With time came the mastery of riding and of warcraft. His sturdy Warpony and a good battleaxe his constant companions in a harsh but unhindered lifestyle. With the wind in his face and a mount to ride nothing was lacking but a little adventure. Iuz´s encroachment in the north meant those few dwarves left to the north were bound to be besieged. Entrusted with the remains of the Dwarven Monarch, to be taken to the southern kingdoms of his kind, he set off to face destiny. That is when he met up with some hardy adventurers named Sayena, the Paladin Woman (or wench when his temper dictates) and the Mysterious Kant, a Monk of much wisdom and little muscle. Min Hao an Elven cleric soon joined the band and has become a trusted ally as well, thou he could manage his weapons a little better. Thru their many adventures Attila eventually developed many skills and tendencies. After using a Berserker Mask, and having lived among the barbaric horsemen, Attila started acquiring a battle rage and an almost impossible awareness of danger. Thou already very nimble and dextrous for a Dwarf his instincts got better and he is always one of the first to react to any danger. Recently he retired his battle axe and shield to take up the Great Axe... quickly gaining mastery of the dangerous weapon thru which he has expressed his anger and combat frenzy. Thou he prefers to fight on the back of a trusted warpony... their adventures have taken him away from his beloved plains and "horses" (warponies for humans). Attila might not be the strongest of dwarves (Str 16 -> 18 8th lvl) but he likes to claim being " The fastest Dwarf alive"... (Dex 16) even in his Breastplate he can almost keep up with lightly armored humans (speed 25') and can keep running for quite some time (Con 16).
