Hi Angelsboi. I volunteered to help you yesterday but you weren't around. Today I don't have access to Excel. *sigh* However, if you don't receive any help from someone else I'll mail you a model tomorow (in 14 hours).

I'll be sure to add a randomizer and a listpicker.

Meanwhile, type this into a cell. Then press F9. Repeatedly.

=INT(RAND()*6)+1

A d6!
:D

Yes id like your help. the Dragon issue is Issue Number 275 and im looking for a random generator where i can put in the ammount of monsters i would like to use and then choose the terrain type and let it come up with a random encounter

I have that issue here. What if I make a small model of that table and post it on the web, then you can download it and expand? I'll throw in some notes to help you on your way.

I'll get back to you on the address.

We have different language versions. This can spell trouble. Anyway let's give it a try. First download angelsboi.xls (Right click and pick save as...) This will give you a handle on things. When you think you know what you are doing download character.xls. It has no monsters though but will show you stuff. (I made character before d20 was released while we were waiting so it might not be true to the rules, ok?)

We'll continue this tomorrow.

Its getting easier =)

Will someone who is good at Excel please email me and help me with this? Im stuck on how do get it to roll 1d3+1 and then produce that many obstacles from the list.

example: it randomly generates a 2 so 2 obstacles will be listed. if it generated 4, 4 obstacles would be displayed.

HELP!!??
