The only time I'd be worried about the unfettered in regular DnD is if they were allowed to multiclass with Swashbuckler, so they could pick up insightful strike.  An unfettered's damage per hit will likely be rather low - a rogue using normal weapons will likely have the same base damage and twice the sneak attack.</blockquote>
