Authors that post gaming resources

I was looking at some of the Authors I am currently reading, Greg Keyes and R. Scott Bakker, when I noticed that Greg Keyes had some additional resources that pertained to his series. I was wondering if any other authors also published such resources to their fans. Do you have any favorite authors that have published (for free) something that would be good for gaming?
