That's awesome. Thanks so much. I'll be glad to answer that for you. When we were entering into the d20 market the big rage at that time was campaign settings. Every company was releasing one and it was a crowded market. Whenever anyone mentioned releasing a new campaign setting, retailers and distributors would be all up in arms and complain that they won't order another campaign setting. So we decided to create a monster book instead. Its true that the monsters are for our campaign setting, but you don't need the campaign setting to use the monsters. We made sure they were described generically so they could be placed in any standard D&D game. That is why the On Avadnu information is separate from the main text and sometimes they both don't really gel together. I hear this from a lot of people, "Why didn't you guys do the Campain Setting first?" Its very flattering because it makes me think that the tidbits of the world that are currently availble are cool enough to deserve their own setting. So we have been taking our time and making sure that The Avadnu Primer can live up to all of the high expectations and standards we have set for ourselves. I hope everyone sticks around for it, because I strongly feel that its not only a worthy successor to Denizens of Avadnu, but is also superior in many ways. Stay tuned!
