However, parties to find out more about these beings all failed.Also, according to the same page of the same book, in -1531 DR the village of Bandor was wiped out by a plague reportedly spread through contact with winged humanoids, and the plague spread to another settlement called Vandal Station where it claimed 4,000 lives before it ceased.I very vaguely recall (IIRC) the old Elves of Evermeet sourcebook saying there were almost no avariel on the island, and that the queen there was trying to get the message to them that they'd be welcome there.</blockquote>
