Message: <blockquote data-quote="alsih2o" data-source="post: 255967" data-attributes="member: 4790">Bothered About Worshipping Dragons Y'all  i mean let's face facts, in a world where glory and treasure are valued highly, in a world where experience is all that seperates the great from the goop, in a world where the smartest and strongest have true tests of mettle to claw their way up the ladder of success, dragons are THE target.  the best of them are bullies, and the worst, well, they are even worse. thieves, extortionist, killers and maimers....heck i haven't even started in on all the goods they must consume calorie-wise to keep their bulk moving and those breath weapons working. i am amazed that there isn't more of a movement to track them down and shake them by their greedy little(o.k., big) necks till they promise to become beasts of burden for every poor peasant on the street. if an n.p.c. had all of this treasure and power every adventurer worth his salt would be out gunning for a way to take that dude down. add to this their obvious affiliation with the reptilian class and the only thing that could delight people more in killing them is if they were directly related to spiders.  i say "off with this nasty yoke of dragon worship and slay them all(we'll split the treasure later!)"  the b.a.d.d. folks are right in one respect, these guys aren't (or shouldn't be) easy to kill, so i say the rest of us look into ways to handle that. troll-slayers, dwarven-defewnders, i say we need a school specifically aimed at teaching folks to kill the mightiest of dragonkind(a well hidden school mind you)  orc invasions and giant colonies are naught in the face of this particular challenge, heck most of these demihumans could probably even be brought into the cause for a (slightly lesser) share of the treasure!  i now send out a call, a call for your best wyrm-kicking stories, your top smaug-choking techniques, and your favorite fantasies of retribution on these biosystem crushing beasts!  dragon-slayers unite!(preferably someplace well-hidden and secretive) <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f61b.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":p" title="Stick out tongue    :p"  data-smilie="7"data-shortname=":p" /></blockquote>
