I wonder what new things it brings to the table compared to Warriors of the Red Planet. Which is OD&D, but that's a minor difference when you do a total conversion.

What makes B/X Mars unique, IMHO, is the unique art style, and the inclusion of a variety of compatible influences to accent the Barsoomian foundation.
