[QUOTE="Tonguez, post: 5313644, member: 1125"] The other day while channel surfing my sona nd I ended up watching Babar the Elephant and I was struck at just how much of an epic adventure he was having! For those who don't know Babar is an Elephant, whose mother was shot and who went to the city, got an education and then returned back home bringing civilisation to the jungle and being appointed king of the elephants. Anyway in the particular episode I watched the jungle is being terrorised by The Hunter (BBEG) and his minions. Babar is trying to unite the animal kingdoms but Retaxes, king of the rhinos opposes him and causes the council to break up. The Retaxes is captured by The Hunter, Babar and his companions (his two chief advisors) then set out to save Retaxes from where he has been imprisoned by The Hunter. Retaxes is free and flees leaving Babar and the elephants to face the wrath of The Hunter alone. The Hunter attacks and and he decides to set fire to the Jungle! Although Babar rallies some support it isn't enough and the elephants are unable to contain the Fire. The Retaxes returns with the RHinos and by calling all the animals together they are able to save the day, defeat the Hunter and even get some unity amongst the various kingdoms (almost:)) It was awesome - and aimed at 5 year olds:) Anyone else been inspired by childrens stories? and is there a playable 'Rhinocerous-based' race anywhere?
