Holy crap! The biggest of our four was about 7 and a half pounds. Two of ours were under seven pounds.

I called my wife and told her about this -- almost fourteen pounds and three weeks early (the end of the pregnancy, supposedly the babies gain half a pound a week) and her comment was, "somebody miscalculated that due date..."

I was a little over 10 lbs. at birth. That said, I was something like 2-3 weeks overdue. I went on to be considered underweight from 1-20 years of age; no serious health problems.
