Hi guys, The latest supplement for the Babylon 5 RPG is now out and about - in some places. Because of the Christmas break and the resulting chaos, you may find this in your local stores now, or you may have to wait a week or so. Anyway, the EarthForce Campaign Book contains everything you need to run military style campaigns from a human perspective, whether you base your crew on a spacecraft, an outpost or even a diplomatic space station. . . This book is also _the_ central resource for EarthForce, the military arm of humanity. Whether you want to know what ranks are needed to go through to make Admiral or how many ships and outposts were present within EarthForce at any part of the Babylon 5 timeline - this book has it! The entire history of EarthForce is charted, including the Dilgar War, the evolution of the various classes of ship, the effects of the Earth/Minbari War and so on. The organisation of the military is detailed, from the Joint Cheifs downwards (and notes on roleplaying with the Joint Cheifs are included, for those who like high-level gaming), along with the various divisions of EarthForce, from the scientific, to the Reserves. The EarthForce Life chapter kicks off the real meat for characters in the military, including rules and guidelines for such details as earning promotions, pay scales (yes, you can have a life outside of EarthForce!), and previous life experience enabling newly created characters to benefit from previous career history, training and unusual events. If players wish, they can engage in complete tours of duty, fully detailed, simply by selecting a year or era and following the events - Games Masters can use the same tool to construct entire campaigns. Glorious artwork fills these pages, covering insignia, rank marking and uniforms, as well as organisational charts and new equipment. More space is given to EarthForce's notorious Black Projects and there is copious amounts of advice for players and Games Masters alike on how to engage in an EarthForce related campaign, how to play through it and what to expect, from the chance to buck for combat duty to intrusions by the Psi Corps. To top all this off, a series of complete scenarios have been included, ready to give your EarthForce campaign a flying start! The EarthForce Campaign Book is a 160 page full colour hardback, priced at $29.95. For more details, see; http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/home/detail.php?qsID=1086
