The town is invaded by a bunch of barbarians (i.e. "Wild Boys"). The PCs get the barbarians to chase them around the town until the citizenry can mobilize itself. Unfortunately, like the song says, "Wild boys, never chose this way..." the PCs have a devil of a time keeping them interested (think Attention Deficit).

The wild boys are calling
On their way back from the fire
------The barbarian horde has just return from a pilgrimage to a sacred volcano

In august moon's surrender to
A dust cloud on the rise
---- their return on horses blows up a dust cloud

Wild boys fallen far from glory
Reckless and so hungered
---- The barbarians that were not allowed to go on the pilgrimage is jealous and angry at those that have.

On the razors edge you trail
Because there's murder by the roadside
In a sore afraid new world
---- There were a LOT of these that didn't go and they lay ambush on the rest. The pc's are just innocent bystanders that got in the way.

They tried to break us, looks like they'll try again
--- It had been a journey of several ambushes so far.

Wild boys never lose it
Wild boys never chose this way
Wild boys never close your eyes
Wild boys always shine
---- The ambushers are not acting on their own, they have been dominated by some other force or being. (preferably use a coven of mind flayers)

You got sirens for a welcome
There's bloodstain for your pain
And your telephone been ringing
While you're dancing in the rain
--- When not attacking anyone, the dominated barbarians are dancing in the nude under the open sky, madness fills their thoughts.

Wild boys wonder where is glory
Where is all you angels
Now the figureheads have fell
--- Betrayal inside the horde, and the leaders fall

And lovers war with arrows
Over secrets they could tell
--- These are the new leaders vying for position using blackmail and assassination.

Summary:
pc's meet up with a friendly horde, they join the festivities. They get ambushed along with the horde. They get embroiled with the internal politics that eventually lead to the deaths of the leaders and the new ones rising to take their places.
The coven of mind flayers might be in league or even successful in dominating the new leaders to take over a powerful tribe of warriors. It's up to the PCs to stop the Mind Flayer's plan before the barbarians wage a ravaging war over the land.

UNHOLY

The worlds first Paladin, the legendary "Abbas Bab" lived thousands of years ago (think early Bronze Age 'Scorpion King' style), and in his life he had but one blemish. In his youth he had loved a woman who was not his to have and she had become pregnant with his child. Instead of facing this he had abandoned her and fled, only later atoning for his sin,

The Woman was cast out into the wilderness and records of her are lost. It was assumed she had died - she had not instead whilst in labour giving birth to her child alone she had screamed out to the Dark Lords and they had come taking her child as an offering and her soul as payment.

The Child was raised by the demonic powers and eventually became the first Black Guard. When the Child 'Kwalma' was of age he lead an army of Unholy Darkness against the Mortal World devestating all before him until he eventually found his hated father
The two fought and many legends are told of the destruction they wrought until finally both were destroyed.

In the present day the PCs (forward scouts for the Kings Army or something) call into a Monastary where they meet a young Ward of the Paladins Church who is very interested in the war going on in the country (and now approaching the Monastary lands)

As the War gets closer strange things start happening, the boy is having nightmares and the Monstary (and PCs) are getting attacked by unique and terrible monsters (templated abberations, undead and fiends) - over the course of events the PCs realise that the Nightmares are the source of the creatures and that the child is in fact the reincarnation of Kwalma who the forces of Evil are trying to reawaken

The PCs must then take care of the nightmare creatures, keep the boy from the hands of the Evil Army and discover a way to release him from the Spirit of Kwalma (which may require the return and final atonement of 'Abbas-Bab' (which might take it to Epic levels:))

The song seems to fit a d20 modern game. so here's a stab at it....

All Hell’s Breakin’ Loose

Street hustler comes up to me one day
And I’m walkin’ down the street, mindin’ my own business
Now he looks me up and he looks me down and says
Hey man, what be this and what be that and why you gotta look like that?
---------this is a contact, a pimp in the street.

Well I just looked at him, I kinda laughed, I said
Hey man, I am cool, I am the breeze
Haven’t you heard, there’s a new revolution
Gotta spread the word - too much confusion

---------this is an npc, probably a snitch that knows about a possible gang war that's going to happen soon but not sure of all the facts

All hell’s breakin’ loose - hey hey have you read the news
All hell’s breakin’ loose - overloadin’ ’n’ blowin’ my fuse
All hell’s breakin’ loose - day and night, baby, night and day
All hell’s breakin’ loose - in the streets there’s a brand new way, yeah

--------- News on the tv, bombings day and night and in various ways.

You know we ain’t always winners, but this is the life we choose
And we won’t change or rearrange, and we ain’t never ever gonna lose
It ain’t always easy when the goin’ gets rough
When you’re gettin’ even, you gotta show your stuff - tell about it now
-----One side's attitude. Not always the best, sometimes the underdog, but they are no one's puppet. When they strike back, everyone knows who they are. This is best suited to be a gang that has gone through a lot of hard times.

Take a look around, only one solution
Set the world on fire, fight the institution
Gonna stand our ground, feel the new sensation
Something’s goin’ down - rock the nation
----- The gang has a run in and grudge against an institition. Probably a corporation that wants to muscle in on the gang territory. The gang is going to stand their ground instead of selling out like the corp expected.

All hell’s breakin’ loose - hey hey, have you read the news
All hell’s breakin’ loose - overloadin’ ’n’ blowin’ my fuse
All hell’s breakin’ loose - day and night, baby, night and day
All hell’s breakin’ loose - ah, take it
--------- More fighting between gang and corp

Haven’t you heard, only one solution
Gotta spread the word - you gotta tell it to the people now
Take a look around, feel the new sensation
Set the world on fire - rock the nation
------- Corporate funded reporter turns against the corporation and begins to televise the real thing instead of the cover up.

All hell’s breakin’ loose, all hell’s breakin’ loose
All hell’s breakin’ loose - baby baby baby baby whoo

All hell’s breakin’ loose - hey, hey, have you read the news
All hell’s breakin’ loose - overloadin’ ’n blowin’ my fuse
All hell’s breakin’ loose - day and night, baby, night and day
All hell’s breakin’ loose - in the streets you can hear them say
-------- as the saying goes, ALL HELL's breaking loose.

Summary:
The pcs could be gang people or they could be corporate hired muscle to oust the gang.
Assume the PCs are hired muscle: The gang has been on hard times but pride has been their thing. During the initial skirmishes, the PCs learn that the gang isn't really what the corp led them to believe. The gang isn't some disorganized bunch of drug addicts. They are just down to earth and down on their luck people who stick together through thick and thin.
The reporter with the PCs could be an npc working for the corp and is taking footage but puts the gang people in a bad light.
During another series of skirmishes, the reporter has a change of heart and begins to report the real heart break story whether the PCs like it or not. At this point the PCs have a chance to turn against the corp.

The corp in an effort to squish the media slip up, sends in their shock troops. All hell breaks loose. Outcome..... yet to be seen.
