[QUOTE="Kyramus, post: 1443371, member: 7072"] The song seems to fit a d20 modern game. so here's a stab at it.... All Hell’s Breakin’ Loose Street hustler comes up to me one day And I’m walkin’ down the street, mindin’ my own business Now he looks me up and he looks me down and says Hey man, what be this and what be that and why you gotta look like that? ---------this is a contact, a pimp in the street. Well I just looked at him, I kinda laughed, I said Hey man, I am cool, I am the breeze Haven’t you heard, there’s a new revolution Gotta spread the word - too much confusion ---------this is an npc, probably a snitch that knows about a possible gang war that's going to happen soon but not sure of all the facts All hell’s breakin’ loose - hey hey have you read the news All hell’s breakin’ loose - overloadin’ ’n’ blowin’ my fuse All hell’s breakin’ loose - day and night, baby, night and day All hell’s breakin’ loose - in the streets there’s a brand new way, yeah --------- News on the tv, bombings day and night and in various ways. You know we ain’t always winners, but this is the life we choose And we won’t change or rearrange, and we ain’t never ever gonna lose It ain’t always easy when the goin’ gets rough When you’re gettin’ even, you gotta show your stuff - tell about it now -----One side's attitude. Not always the best, sometimes the underdog, but they are no one's puppet. When they strike back, everyone knows who they are. This is best suited to be a gang that has gone through a lot of hard times. Take a look around, only one solution Set the world on fire, fight the institution Gonna stand our ground, feel the new sensation Something’s goin’ down - rock the nation ----- The gang has a run in and grudge against an institition. Probably a corporation that wants to muscle in on the gang territory. The gang is going to stand their ground instead of selling out like the corp expected. All hell’s breakin’ loose - hey hey, have you read the news All hell’s breakin’ loose - overloadin’ ’n’ blowin’ my fuse All hell’s breakin’ loose - day and night, baby, night and day All hell’s breakin’ loose - ah, take it --------- More fighting between gang and corp Haven’t you heard, only one solution Gotta spread the word - you gotta tell it to the people now Take a look around, feel the new sensation Set the world on fire - rock the nation ------- Corporate funded reporter turns against the corporation and begins to televise the real thing instead of the cover up. All hell’s breakin’ loose, all hell’s breakin’ loose All hell’s breakin’ loose - baby baby baby baby whoo All hell’s breakin’ loose - hey, hey, have you read the news All hell’s breakin’ loose - overloadin’ ’n blowin’ my fuse All hell’s breakin’ loose - day and night, baby, night and day All hell’s breakin’ loose - in the streets you can hear them say -------- as the saying goes, ALL HELL's breaking loose. Summary: The pcs could be gang people or they could be corporate hired muscle to oust the gang. Assume the PCs are hired muscle: The gang has been on hard times but pride has been their thing. During the initial skirmishes, the PCs learn that the gang isn't really what the corp led them to believe. The gang isn't some disorganized bunch of drug addicts. They are just down to earth and down on their luck people who stick together through thick and thin. The reporter with the PCs could be an npc working for the corp and is taking footage but puts the gang people in a bad light. During another series of skirmishes, the reporter has a change of heart and begins to report the real heart break story whether the PCs like it or not. At this point the PCs have a chance to turn against the corp. The corp in an effort to squish the media slip up, sends in their shock troops. All hell breaks loose. Outcome..... yet to be seen.
