Back cover of Pleasure Prison... Behind the Scenes!

No, it's not the (un)dressing room. :]

There is a legend of a module of such a caliber that no mere hobbyist gamer would dare face it. A module for elite DMs, from the mind of an elite DM: Doug Douglasson, star of 'Fear of Girls'. The module, 'Pleasure Prison of the B'thuvian Demon Whore', was released this year by Expeditious Retreat Press, for characters who are gods among men. Art master Todd Lockwood did the cover, and I did the back cover.

So you can see the process behind my newer pictures, follow the link below for earlier stages of 'Corrupted' and the final piece. Then come back here and let me know what you think!

Beautiful as always, though there is something about their expressions that I could see in the original pencil sketch that was lost in the layering and coloring - it is hard to put my finger on it.

The art for that Perilous Heights thing was really phenomenal. Wow.

I got my copy the other day. I like the character artwork, but I thought the 'location' shots were both too few and generally 'bleh'. Especially given the potential of the setting. The cherry on top of the chocolate golem is priceless, though. The front and back shots are top-notch.

Looking at the website it looks like some level of detail got lost in the print version of the back cover -- the scales lost some of their prominence. At first look, the print copy seemed more feline than serpentine, but on the website it's a lot clearer. The only real quibble I have is that I think the blonde's hair should have been blonder -- the color isn't different enough from the skintone. With the brunette it's a nice contrast and accentuates the human/non-human split, but you don't get the same effect with her comrade.

Yeah, I like that one too. It seems to me that too much of the artwork anymore focuses on character at the expense of setting. It's nice to see that trend bucked.

Okay, wait a sec. Someone actually released this as an adventure? You're kidding, right? That video + the subsequent threads were SO funny

Ans St. George and the Dragon is pretty awesome - at first I thoguht the brass looked too much like a horse, but then I read the description of it  Dragonsteeds, indeed. Good idea for a DL game, actually.

Nope. I just bought it a week or so ago.
Nope it's not out, and you're being sarcastic with the following statement ( :D ) or Nope it is out?

Where can you get this at, if it's for real?
