Looks pretty good--you're getting some basic shapes down. The eyes should be a bit lower, and you need to work on the nose and lips a bit. I think the angle on the nose is probably a bit off.

Thank you very much, I hadn't been able to draw the whole of the head so there is a little bit more hair on the picture so I'm not sure about the nose, but I will take it on board.

The lips need definate work, and the nose. Yes I agree on the angle..... :heh:

Thanks for the help!

The hair is excusable, I think. Hair is more about direction and flow, which you seem to have.

I just noticed you drew the chin twice--the one that doesn't stick out so much is the better one, right? It's a softer angle. Faces can be tough sometimes because of lots of subtle bumps and shapes.

Yeah, I quite like drawing the hair. Yes the 'inner' chin is the one I wanted, but it is in Biro so I could rub out the big chin..

I'm more worried about the tiny fingers in the first drawing. Also, there's no real reason to go nuts drawing lines in hair. Most people understand what you're doing just with shapes and general forms.

She didn't know I was drawing so I fudged in some fingers (she only raised them for a second). :heh:

On the fair, I quite like the look it can give with all the lines, but you are right it is over kill. And I'm never happy with them as I end up more 'creative' then accurate.

Thanks for the Critique, it means alot that some one like you (Acquana) would give me help :)

*blush* No need to be overly flattered. I've just been doing this for a while and finally catching on that not a lot of people on the boards are going to be horribly offended by me throwing in my two cents.

Fine then...... :D I'm stunned you'd even bother sticking your overly large nose in..... :p (j/k)

But, you have good art and know about art, so its nice to be recognised by the ENworld artistic elite. Plus whatever comes out of my mouth is praise or curses, no middle ground :o .
